Creating Memorable Events that Last a Lifetime
Yes, a destination wedding is often more affordable than a traditional wedding at home—especially when you choose an all-inclusive venue. On average, couples who marry in destinations like Mexico or the Caribbean spend less than $10,000. That said, I’ll provide realistic numbers tailored to your guest count and travel needs. By bundling accommodations, meals, drinks, and the wedding package into one cost, you and your guests can enjoy a beautiful and transparent experience—knowing all travel expenses are paid for before departure.
Nope! One of the biggest advantages of working with me is that you (and your guests) don’t need to pay everything upfront. DestinationWeddings.com offers flexible "Pay As You Go" options. One option is to work directly with me to set up a custom payment plan. Another is using Affirm, which lets you spread payments out beyond the due date if needed. This allows you to manage costs comfortably—without the stress of paying all at once.
Yes! During the planning process, you’ll work closely with two key people:
Me! I’ll help you choose the perfect resort, wedding package, and coordinate all travel arrangements for you and your guests—including accommodations, transportation, and excursions.
Your onsite wedding coordinator, included with your resort wedding package, will handle all the day-of details. From check-in to ceremony décor, timeline, hair and makeup appointments, and more—they’re there to ensure everything runs smoothly.
And of course, I’m always here to help with anything you need throughout the process. Just ask!
There is no charge to work with me! My services are 100% complimentary because I’m paid by the resorts. You’ll only need to cover the cost of your accommodations, airfare, and wedding package. This allows you to benefit from professional guidance and planning—at no extra cost to you.
I recommend starting your destination wedding planning 10–12 months in advance to allow time for planning and guest arrangements. Some couples start as early as 18–20 months out, while others with shorter engagements plan successfully in 6–8 months. I even plan elopements—my most recent was a beautiful one in Fiji!
Planning ahead helps your guests too—it gives them time to save, coordinate flights, and pay for their stay. The more time we have, the more flexibility and options you’ll enjoy to make your wedding perfect.
Group pricing typically covers all-inclusive resort packages, but flights are often booked separately. That’s because airfare isn’t always available that far in advance. I recommend booking your own flights (and having guests do the same), but I’m always happy to advise on the best options and timing!
